The last town before you stumble into the expansive unexplored wilds of the Layered Lands of the Unremembered. There have been times the town grew beyond it's walls and formed new perimeter walls and times it has shrank down to a few inhabitants in the heart of the city. This is one of those times.
The economy is still built around the adventurer economy. Catering to anyone fool-hearty enough to venture into out into the wilds seeking riches.
This is the current state of things within Sorren's Landing, they will improve as the economy grows and more riches are brought back from the Wilds
Level 1
There is a small well here with clean water and typically a line. This is usually the last stop for people leaving town, so it attracts a lot of mercenaries or people with talents looking for work as a vagabond.
Level 1 Lodgings
A small building with very spartan rooms. It is warm, dry, and safe. The owner has grand plans and ambitions for expansions and improvements. Despite their visions of grandeur, they are very kind, attentive, and thoughtful to their guests.
Level 2 Tavern
A few tables and drinks served out of the back of a fortified caravan. People come here to blow off steam and discuss the trips into the wastes. Sometimes people get too into their cups and brag a little too loudly about potential windfall loot locations. This is a great place to gather rumors.
Improvements Underway
Level 1 Bank
A currency exchanger and appraiser of antiquities. No real desire to ever head out into the dangerous wastelands, but profoundly interested in the fallen ages and the artifacts they left behind.
Level 1 Basic Goods
Sells basic exploration gear, rope, torches, rations. Run by a practical former caravan hand who knows what surveyors actually need. Reliability is their main focus. They almost ALWAYS have things to cover your basic needs. It is their pride that they have this reliability.
