A house where the walls hum softly, the boats bob in dreamlike rhythm, and sleep comes like a story told twice.
Driftbarrow House is both a riverside inn and something older — a dwelling built atop ancient stonework and half-forgotten songs. The house itself stands crooked but strong, shingled with old slate and painted in faded dyes, with carved eaves shaped like curled leaves and frog faces. Windchimes of glass, bone, and coral clink gently from the porch beams. The front garden blooms wild with nightflowers and feathergrass. Guests often remark the place seems larger on the inside, and time feels less hurried once you step through the door.

The House (main structure):
The Jetty (rear section):
Accessible only through a curtain-draped archway in the back parlor.Leads to a worn stone jetty older than the town itself. Several canal boats are moored here, each retrofitted into whimsical guest lodgings:
| Room | Description | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Hearth Room (House) | A quiet room with a clay stove and soft chairs. Rain sounds like lullabies here. | 2s |
| Riverwatch Loft (House) | Tall windows, a writing desk, and a spyglass provided. | 3s |
| Boat Lodging (Jetty) | Each canal boat has its own theme and personality. | 2s (shared) / 4s (private) / 8s (full boat) |
| Traveler’s Tea & Bed | Includes breakfast and a pot of Mistberry tea. | Add 1s to room rate |
Driftbarrow's guestbook only accepts names written in rhyme. Lanterns on the jetty light only when someone is truly weary. The house seems to know when someone is grieving — and leaves out a quilt or extra mug of tea. No one remembers who runs it. The inn just is.
Wen somehow manages to prepare just enough food for everyone who arrives hungry to eat their fill. Her kitchen is really the main dining room, where there is a hearth and an oven where she performs all her culinary magic.

Filled with comfy chairs, warm fires, and strong brandy. When the sun sets, Old Marrow is always in his den. Enjoying the company of the guests, sharing a glass of brandy, or discussing the world over a well smoked pipe.
There are always travelers passing through here with rumors they've gathered from the town. They discuss among other travelers here to avoid trying to get any truth from locals.
